An Elite Selection of Fashions Night Out (Read: How to get Free Booze and Food No Matter Where You Are 9.10)

It's 10:30 AM. You're at your desk but the clock is far more interesting than the computer screen. It's Friday but that's not it. Theres a kind of magic in the air. The kind of magic that you only catch a whiff of when free drink, high fashion discounts and celebrities are mixed together with Gotham as a backdrop. The kind of magic that happens once a year in September...for Fashion's Night Out.
Looking through the list at www.fashionsnightout.com which is incredibly lengthy. I pared the list down to around 800 candidates for the Winner of FNO in NYC.
I narrowed again. This time filtering by DJ and Block Party. We were left with just over 300 candidates. What's a man to do when faced by the promise of open bar, a Wii tournament with free drink and live concerts by a handful of top notch celebrities?
The only choice I had was to follow my training and be a man for others (Thanks Regis...). I painstakingly pared the list down to just over 70 ridiculously awesome Fashion's Night Out events. Among them are dance parties, Block Parties, Carnivals, Open Bars, Fashion Shows, Art Showcases and the odd celebrity hosted open bar (more than a few). Enclosed in the link below, is a nugget of pure gold...but it's only the beginning.
As you'll see, there are only 10 events listed. That is only a sliver of what's going on. Anywhere you search in Manhattan, you will find the best events nearby with free food, drink and general merriment. Go ahead and follow the link, then do some searches around Manhattan. Check by the office, by the house and wherever else you plan to start your night but whatever you do don't get caught by a dud of a stop...time is surprisingly limited when the whole city's a party!
